Programming  Cones

Commissioned by FranklinTill for Heimtextil in Frankfurt, we explored how the properties of bacterial cellulose structures can be “programmed” during the growth and post-processing stages in order to achieve different material characteristics such as density, water resistance, flexibility, haptics, and colour.
