Sausage production is constantly evolving and responding to current societal changes, such as climate change, growing populations alongside dwindling resources, and increasing price pressure. New resources and processes are being used in production. Soy, seitan, insects, and jackfruit have already made their way into global markets, and lab-grown in-vitro meat is not far from becoming a reality.
