Greenhouse  installation

In a greenhouse installation, we cultivated old, mostly unknown plant varieties while creating a hermetically sealed, laboratory-like atmosphere. Through this staging, the impression emerged that the plants could be newly developed varieties. This sense of irritation opened up conversations about plant breeding, societal values, and a possible unease towards biotechnological developments, thereby creating a space for science communication.

Many thanks to Nils Höpken for his great support with the construction process and setup.
